VEINS / LISTEN / CUL-DE-SAC
Opening July 13th, “Veins / Listen / Cul-de-sac” is an installation by inter-disciplinary artist Rita McKeough composed of lands the artist is deeply concerned about. This exhibition offers an immersion in a landscape where the paradox between a healthy natural world and human systems of capitalism, production, consumption can be contemplated.
The thematic program consists of exhibitions, an artist talk, an electronics Make Art Project workshop , and a creative residency supported by partnering organizations North Island College Fine Arts Department and the McLoughlin Gardens Society.
