KIDS SUMMER CAMP:

July 10 – 12 / 9am – 12pm + 1pm – 4pm
Providing an opportunity to build and explore art making and electronics ‘un-making’. Participants will be encouraged to explore how to disassemble broken electronics to then use in their art creations.
Explore: Providing a guided exploration of disassembling electronics.
Access: Offer access to create art from the variety of electronic components.
Outcome: There is the potential of providing a level of intimacy and understanding of the hidden areas in our world through the act of exploring the inner workings and inherent cycles of everyday objects.
WHO: Kids 8 years + older / care-providers welcome to join for free
WHERE: Project Room, Comox Valley Art Gallery, 580 Duncan Ave.
WHEN: Monday, July 10 – Wednesday, July 12 / 9am – 12pm or 1pm – 4pm
FEE: $60 for 3 sessions / $120 for 3 full days* pre-registration at CVAG
REQUIRED: Snacks + Water
OPTIONAL: Bring broken electronic toys, computer keyboards, computer mice, or speakers (DO NOT BRING kitchen appliances, TV’s, or computer monitors)
