Summer Jobs + Internships
CVAG offers hands-on experiences for students and recently-graduated arts students to work in the gallery. During these term positions, they can:
- Gain the skills needed to work in an art presentation space
- Meet the exhibiting artists
- Design and facilitate art-making activities for all ages
- Engage with our diverse community
- Help make dynamic arts and culture events happen
These work experiences can be from eight weeks to several months. The gallery posts the positions each year in the late winter / early spring on its website and social media platforms.

Paid Media Training For Youth
Youth Media Project is a biannual, 13-week program that offers youth an opportunity to receive paid training in video production, sound design, and other media skills.

Volunteer in the Shop
Have an interest in local artists and craftspeople, basic computer skills, and enjoy helping customers? The Comox Valley Art Gallery welcomes the support of volunteers in Shop⋮Made. Training is provided and your time and energy are greatly appreciated.
