The Comox Valley Art Gallery is dedicated to presenting and fostering contemporary art by professional artists from the region, the country and beyond. Through our exhibitions, publications, creative residencies, and education programs we link the Comox Valley to the broader world of contemporary art practice. We actively engage the public, draw visitors, and enliven the community through public events, performances, community collaborations, all-ages make art projects, youth training and mentorship programs, and a gift shop that sells the work of local artists. CVAG is an independent public gallery run by a non-profit society.

CVAG welcomes everyone to visit and participate in the programs it offers.
All programs are free admission — donations are always welcome.
Gallery spaces are wheelchair accessible.
Gender neutral facilities are available.
CVAG offers headsets for anyone who wishes to use them for presentations that have a sound component.

Living through COVID has made us mindful of the importance of maintaining helpful community health care practices. If you are experiencing symptoms of a communicable illness, we ask that you plan another day for your visit.

The Comox Valley Art Gallery is honoured and privileged to be present on the Unceded Territory of the K’ómoks First Nation. CVAG recognizes the enduring presence of First Nations people on this land.
