Starting November 18, the Community Gallery in the CVAG lobby will display the creations that Ecole Puntledge Park Elementary students from Ms. Julie + Ms. Makinson’s grade 2/3 class and Mr. Swaney’s late immersion grade 7 class have made for Everybody Deserves A Smile 2022.
EVERYBODY DESERVES A SMILE 2022
Each winter, the EDAS program engages local students and educators in an arts-based outreach program. Students have created hand-painted bags to be filled with donated items and delivered to those in need during the holidays. To raise community awareness, these “envelopes of love” are displayed at various locations, including CVAG.
910 care packages are to be handed out locally in the Comox Valley this year.
