Carried Away

There are two figures in a large empty space:
she is the continuous drawer, and he is the decision-maker.
Carried Away is a creative program made up of a collaborative creative residency, community MAKE ART workshops, a site-responsive exhibition and endurance performance, instigated by Montreal-based artists Vida Simon and Jack Stanley. Convergent thematic programming in CVAG’s community space includes Source Material II: Unfolding, an exhibition featuring made objects and images by visual art students, faculty, and alumni.
Throughout the exhibition, the artists will stage several ongoing, participatory drawing performances:
Saturday March 11, 11a – 2p
Wednesday March 15, 11a – 2p
Friday March 17, 11a – 2p
Saturday March 18, 11a – 2p
Thursday March 23 , 3p – 6p
Events are free and open to the public.
