WINTER ART FAIRE 2025
The Comox Valley Art Gallery is proud to support the practice of local creatives through our curated WINTER ART FAIRE. This annual event harkens back to the fondly remembered Renaissance Faire hosted by our organization’s founders to showcase the talent of artists and artisans in and surrounding the Comox Valley.
We invite you to visit the gallery, peruse the work for sale, be inspired to make some art yourself, and enjoy complimentary seasonal refreshments — come and celebrate the holidays with us!
During December, the gallery hours are extended…
Regular Faire Hours: 10:00am – 5:00pm, Tuesdays – Saturdays, from December 6 – 23
Special Hours:
12:30 – 5:00pm, Sunday, December 21 (Winter Solstice)
10:00am – 5:00pm on Monday, December 22
10:00am – 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve)
Each open day, there will be a drop-in MAKE ART zone where all ages can take a break to make simple decorations and cards. Materials are supplied for this free activity.
NOTES: Children and those needing assistance to participate in CVAG Make Art stations should be accompanied by adult support persons.
Starting on December 25, the gallery will be closed for the holidays and the installation of our next program.

As part of the Winter Art Faire festivities, we will also be hosting a big party on December 13 and a Solstice event on December 21.
The Comox Valley Art Gallery is committed to creating safer spaces where everyone can participate.
All ages are welcome.
CVAG spaces are accessible. Efforts are made to make presented programming contents available to all by using approachable audio and visual technologies to aid in experience, way finding signage. Staff are available to answer any questions and to provide orientation to the presentation and gallery spaces.
Programs are barrier-free (no cost). DONATIONS are appreciated and contribute to ongoing community interactive programming.
PUBLIC HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS: we ask that visitors choose not to visit if they are experiencing symptoms of colds and flus.
Hand sanitation dispensers are available at CVAG. Wearing a mask is at the discretion of the visitor.
