Close out the season with a reggae dance party, jazzy night-time vibes, family art-making, and cozy end-of-summer fun!
This night will be all about cozy, end-of-summer vibes — think reggae dance party meets jazzy night under the stars. Come ready to dance, relax, and soak up the warmth of our community as we close out another amazing Pulse season.

- Cheko y su Combo | A nostalgic Latin jazz trio bringing rootsy, sophisticated rhythms to ease you into the night.
- Cheko & The Pozitive Rebellion | Reggae favourites bringing the sunshine and irresistible grooves for an all-out community dance party.
- Half/Asian with Amy the CODA | Blending shimmering electronic production, heartfelt harmonies, and the visual poetry of live sign language.
Creative Fun for All Ages:
- CVAG’s Make Art Station — dive into creative fun!
- CV/Arts Art Wagon — participate in the interactive Paper Quilt Project!
- Screen Printing Station — bring a t-shirt, tote bag, or fabric item to print a design on!

Friday, September 26, is the fourth and final Summer Pulse on the Plaza event of the year, located at CVAG Plaza (on the corner of Duncan Avenue and 6th Street).
This series is brought to you in collaboration with Comox Valley Art Gallery, Comox Valley Arts, Elevate the Arts, and the Downtown Courtenay Business Improvement Association, and sponsored by Comox Valley Community Foundation and City of Courtenay.
