Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a performer, or simply looking to enjoy a fun night out with your neighbors, this event has something for everyone.

MAKE ART ACTIVITIES

Inspired by Pride and the current exhibition at CVAG, drop-in art-making opportunities will be available in front of the gallery from 5:00 – 9:00pm during Pulse on the Plaza on Friday, August 23:

  • On-demand Screen Printing – Bring your own t-shirt (or other item of clothing) to be printed with designs that relate to Pride and the current exhibition at the gallery. Designs are created by CVAG student intern Naia Lisch. Andy MacDougall from Wachiay Studio will pull the print or support visitors in pulling their own. If you don’t have an item of clothing, there will be simple cotton broadcloth patches provided to print on (and later attach or frame).
  • Self-directed Make Stations – Create using a variety of upcycling materials. Simple and more complex making supplies and guides will be available for participants of all ages and abilities.
