K’ÓMOKS FUSION FESTIVAL
Summer Pulse on the Plaza opens its 2026 season with the K’ómoks Fusion Festival — a celebration of Indigenous culture, creativity, and community in the heart of Downtown Courtenay, presented in partnership with the Queneesh Indigenous Community Society.
Join us for an evening honouring the richness of the Comox Valley’s Indigenous heritage, with a salmon BBQ hosted by QICS, cedar weaving, storytelling, and a Devil’s Club beadmaking workshop led by Rachelle Jannati of 4Sacred Skin Care. Live music from Greg Wells (Campbell River) and James Vickers (Nanaimo) sets the soundtrack for the night, with additional art activities, screen printing with local legend Andy Mac, and ice cream rounding out the evening.
Free admission. All ages. Come ready to learn, listen, and celebrate.
PULSE ON THE PLAZA 2026
