Cultural identity… Its shaping influence can become a heavy burden and responsibility for BIPOC artists who foreground their cultural identity in their art. It can be a pigeonhole. But it can also be a niche, a great opportunity, a political act, a positive grounding force and a call to express a unique or underrepresented artistic perspective.

CVAG strives to reach all and to that end offers, programming descriptions in print, descriptive recordings, on demand videos, and through in-person welcoming orientation. When it can, CVAG offers materials in languages other than English.
PUBLIC HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS: we ask that visitors choose not to visit if they are experiencing symptoms of colds and flus.
