CVAG FILM SERIES – WINTER 2026
Films screen at 5:00pm on Wednesdays at Landmark Cinemas (2655 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay). Doors open at 4:30pm.
The CVAG Film Series features a selection of films from the Toronto International Film Festival Circuit. CVAG staff and volunteers organize the film series, and proceeds go towards our artistic programming.
PEAK EVERYTHING
Adam is a kind-hearted kennel-owner. Hypersensitive and borderline depressed, he hides his existential fears from his affection-avoidant father, and lets his young assistant take advantage of his good nature. To help combat his eco-anxiety, Adam orders a therapeutic solar lamp. Through the lamp’s supplier’s technical support line, he meets Tina, a radiant woman with a voice that soothes all of his worries. This unexpected encounter changes everything: Earth trembles, and hearts explode… It’s love!

Tickets are $18 for CVAG Members, $19 for Non-Members.
Season passes for all 8 films are $126 for CVAG Members, $133 for Non-Members.

NOTES: If you don’t have an advance ticket, it may be possible to purchase a ticket (cash only, $19) on-site at the theatre, but only if there are still seats available. Cash ticket sales are only available 30 minutes before the film starts. Cash tickets will be sold on a first come – first served basis. Most of our films sell out; to avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
Seating at Landmark Cinemas is first come – first served. Please do not save seats for multiple people. There is no seating after 5:00pm.
NO REFUNDS. You may provide your ticket to a friend if you are unable to attend.
