The CVAG Film Series features a selection of films from the Toronto International Film Festival Circuit. CVAG staff and volunteers organize the film series, and proceeds go towards our artistic programming.
Films screen at 5:00pm on Wednesdays at Landmark Cinemas (2655 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay). Doors open at 4:30pm.

In a friendly and passionate dialogue, Dr. Augustin Masset and writer Fabrice Toussaint confront, for one, the end of his patients’ lives, and for the other, his own fate. Carried away by a whirlwind of visits and encounters, the two embark on a sensitive journey between laughter and tears: a human adventure at the heart of all our lives. A tender display of courage and sensitivity, The Last Breath (Le Dernier Souffle) reassures us about the nature of man and his humanity.

Tickets are $18 for CVAG Members, $19 for Non-Members.
Series passes for all 12 films are $198 for CVAG Members, $209 for Non-Members. (UPDATE: Passes are now sold out.)

NOTES: If you don’t have an advance ticket, it may be possible to purchase a ticket (cash only, $19) on-site at the theatre, but only if there are still seats available. Cash ticket sales are only available 30 minutes before the film starts. Cash tickets will be sold on a first come – first served basis. Most of our films sell out; to avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
Seating at Landmark Cinemas is first come – first served. Please do not save seats for multiple people. There is no seating after 5:00pm.
