COMMUNITY MAKE ART PROJECT: with Anna Gustafson

September 28 2019 / 11:00am - 1:00pm

In her practice engaged with technology, obsolescence and habitat destruction, Anna Gustafson uses linen and thread to enshroud discarded manufactured objects. This enshrouding creates startling beautiful and mysterious sculptures.

In this workshop Anna will demonstrate how common everyday objects, such as flashlights and remote controls, are transformed by this process.

Bring a flashlight or remote control to the workshop – everything else will be supplied.

Workshops are open to all ages (under 16 years need adult accompaniment), no previous related art-making experience required.

This workshop is part of a day of community engagement activities that are part of the UNCOVER opening day events.
