THE COMOX VALLEY ART GALLERY IS CELEBRATING!
- 50 years of VISION • ART • CULTURE as an organization
- 20 years in its current location — the former Courtenay Firehall
In 1974, a group of dedicated individuals banded together to form the Central Island Arts Alliance, which became known for its Renaissance Faire and many other concerts and markets that supported regional creatives. These activities were integral to the establishment of the Comox Valley Art Gallery. The Gallery has continued the tradition of supporting artists near and far as it engages the community through its exhibition programming, community outreach, shop, and winter art market.
This holiday season, ART FAIRE 2024 features one-of-a-kind, handmade items for sale by over 30+ regional artists and makers at the Comox Valley Art Gallery, including:
Angelique Cejka | Bev Byerley | Brenda Kramarchuk | Cassidy Gehmlich | Cindy Monahan | Cora Silvestru | Elaine Savoie | Emily Thiessen | Gabe Moore-Pratt | Ginni Seehagel | Glenn Gustafson | Gwen Monnet | Helen Utsal | Jeannie McDonald | Jeannine Walker | Karen Day | Katy Fogg | Lindsay Celeste | Lori Kenney | Lydia Karpenko | Madeleine Chisholm | Marianne Enhorning | Marlee Rae | Nan.C Designs | Pat Borecky | Rebecca Liggins | Roberto Fioravanti | Rosie Harris | Sandra Lamb | Sofie Skapski | Suzy Weimer | Teresa Hart | Tricia Wasney | Trish Malcomess
