AEON OF THE BLACK SUN – RITUAL ACTIVATION
Registered (Free) Workshop with Artist Alex Coma:
On Tuesday, March 3, from 5:00 – 9:00pm, Alex Coma will lead groups of participants through a site-specific ritual activation to accompany his exhibition Aeon of the Black Sun at CVAG.
This immersive experience transforms the gallery into a “symbolic womb,” moving guests through a journey of rebirth synchronized with the rare astronomical alignment occurring that evening.
Following the ancient Egyptian myth of the sky goddess Nuit, who swallows the sun at night to birth it anew at dawn, participants undergo a process of ego-dissolution to emerge with a “Black Sun” perspective.
THE RITUAL SEQUENCE | CELESTIAL ALIGNMENT
This event is precisely timed to a Total Lunar Eclipse and a high-voltage conjunction of the Sun, Rahu, Mars, and Mercury in Aquarius. The eclipse provides a literal “shadowing” of the ego, while the gallery acts as a structured vessel to move the audience from celestial chaos into the “order” of the Osirion Vision.
WORKSHOP REGISTRATION
This workshop will be limited to 15 participants — split into 3 groupings — in order to ensure the “solo journey” and accessibility requirements are met.
To maintain the sanctity and potency of the transformation, the entire ritual is performed in total silence and strictly as a solo journey. To cultivate the necessary “Saturnian” gravity and to have a sense of responsibility necessary for this type of transformation, participants are asked to participate in separate time slots from partners or friends and wear NEUTRAL GARMENTS — dark-colored clothing that avoids identification with specific styles, ideologies, or personal branding.

* ACCESSIBILITY & CAPACITY FLEX: For those unable to enter the mound physically, a symbolic “slow walk or roll” is facilitated from the PORTAL to the OSIRION VISION. Because the mound has a physical limit, we can accommodate an additional person in a group if a participant utilizes this symbolic path.
SCENT & OLFACTORY ANCHOR: Participants will be interacting in and around the central mound infused with Rose Centifolia. This is the rarest essential oil in the world and is derived from rose petals. Learn more about the Olfactory Essential Oil Intervention.
