Film Screening – The Crime is Mine (Mon Crime)

The CVAG Film Series features a selection of films from the Toronto International Film Festival Circuit. CVAG staff and volunteers organize the film series, and proceeds go towards our artistic programming.

Films screen at 5PM on Sundays at Landmark Cinemas — 2655 Cliffe Ave., Courtenay.


THE CRIME IS MINE (MON CRIME)

A modern feminist take on the classic French farce and a testament to the power of sisterhood and some well-employed smarts. This satirical look at the failings of the justice system, the celebrity criminal, and what women will do to survive in a man’s world is a sure crowd-pleaser.

Tickets for individual films are $14 for CVAG Members or $15 for Non-Members.
Passes for the whole series are $154 for CVAG Members or $165 for Non-Members.

Tickets and season passes are available for purchase at CVAG’s SHOP:MADE or over the phone at 250.338.6211. We are open Wednesdays – Saturdays, 10AM – 5PM.

NOTE: If seats are available, you can purchase tickets with cash at Landmark Cinemas prior to each screening. Screenings are often sold out, so it is advisable to purchase tickets in advance, if possible. All seating is first come, first served. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the film; there is no seating after 5PM.
