Three local authors will be at CVAG to give readings of their work on Friday evening (April 29) at the gallery.
CVAG events are free — donations gratefully accepted support ongoing presentations at CVAG.
Judy LeBlanc (Fanny Bay) is the author of The Promise of Water, one of the founders of the Fat Oyster Reading Series, and was a creative writing instructor at North Island College for many years.
Traci Skuce (Cumberland) is the author of the short story collection Hunger Moon. Her writing has been nominated for 4 Pushcart prizes, 2 Journey prizes, and was long-listed for the 2019 CBC Short Fiction prize.
Cornelia Hoogland’s (Hornby Island) recent books, Cosmic Bowling with Ted Goodden and Woods Wolf Girl were finalists for Canadian national awards. Cornelia was the 2019 writer-in-residence for the Al Purdy A-Frame and Whistler Festival.
