You are invited to join Rachel Grenon at the Comox Valley Art Gallery to participate in a community make art project in which we will make a body of hand molded porcelain boats. Water Effect 2019 is a project that explores the ways in which we are all uniquely personalized. We enter the stream. We follow the current. We are caught up in the preoccupation to be human. We end up surfing between our reality and the dreams we have.

The community project will be presented on June 27th at the opening of a contemporary clay exhibition entitled hold being held, after which time, participants may collect their boat during the first week of July at CVAG.

Admission is free. CVAG promotes a zero-barrier approach to participation in community events. Donations are gratefully accepted to support the presentation of this program and the associated costs of materials and processes (estimated at $25/boat).
