| The Comox Valley Art Gallery’s 11th Biennial Gala Art Auction, Call for Donations
The Comox Valley Art Gallery’s goal for our 11th Biennial Gala Art Auction is to raise a much needed $50,000, and we can do it with your participation! Do you have artwork (your own or another artists) looking for a new home? By donating to our Art Auction you will be supporting the exhibition programming of the Comox Valley Art Gallery - including the upcoming exhibition in 2011 by renowned wild life artist, environmentalist and naturalist Robert Bateman. Funds raised also enable us to continue our art educational program including art workshops for children, youth and adults and to augment the care, conservation and development of our permanent art collection. Anyone can donate artwork to be auctioned and all donors will receive a charitable tax receipt after the event. All artwork must be in good condition, framed, ready to hang or display and delivered to the Gallery by Saturday September 4th at 4:30pm (CVAG reserves the right to refuse artwork that is deemed inappropriate). By attending the Art Auction you will enjoy a gala evening of art, music, entertainment, delicious appetizers & desserts and socializing. Tickets are $50 each or a table of eight for $350, available at the CVAG Gallery Gift Shop, 580 Duncan Avenue, Courtenay. As the region’s only public gallery presenting art exhibitions of a provincial and national level, we are committed to the quality of programming and services we provide.
