The Comox Valley Art Gallery
Introduces an Exciting New Art Rental Program:
Beginning in January, 2008, the gallery introduced a new and exciting program. Realizing that our extensive permanent collection wasn’t getting the attention it deserved, we decided to make some available for rent.
Paintings, photographs, prints, and sculptures are available for the public to rent for a period of three, six, or nine months. The public has the fantastic opportunity to hang the works from some of Canada’s most renowned artists. Some of these artists include: Jack Shadbolt, Chai Duncan, Tom Burrows, Paul Fortin, and Jed Irwin to name a few.
Renting art gives the public the ability to hang contemporary works of art on their walls without the commitment of ownership. It is also a wonderful way to enjoy a diverse rotating art exhibition within your own home!
The rental price is based on the value of each piece. You can rent an original piece of artwork beginning at only $20/month!
Please come into the gallery and view our extensive Art Rental Catalogue, which contains coloured images of all the art available. It also includes the information about each piece such as the title, dimensions, medium and rental price.
