FOOD, ART, FUN:
In the spirit of maritime kitchen parties CVAG is hosting a community engagement event that offers celebration and connection between visiting artists Vida Simon and Jack Stanley (Montreal), Rita McKeough (Calgary), and the Comox Valley community on Thursday evening March 23. There will also be a guest appearance by BIRCH, featuring Jesse Gentes, Scott Bertram, and Destanne Lundquist. Birch are a trio of musical seekers who weave free-improvisation and rhythmic structure to search out oblivion through sound.
You are invited. Bring your favorite dish and an appetite for connection, music and fun. The celebration will be held in CVAG’s new Project Room Studio.
